Because drunk driving can cause significant damage and injury, it is a criminal offense to operate any motor vehicle at a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .08 g/dL or above in all 50 States, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.  In addition, if a driver is convicted of a DUI, they may lose their driver’s license.

Signs of Drunk Biking

NHTSA has found that the following cues predict impaired motorcycle operation: trouble with balance at a stop, unsteady/sudden corrections, late braking, improper lean angle when turning, skidding during turns or curves, trouble with dismount, and weaving.  If you see a biker exhibiting these signs and suspect alcohol is involved, contact the police immediately to avoid a devastating accident.
